Desogere, Pauline, PhD

Program Manager and Industry Liaison

Pauline Desogere is the Program Manager and Industry Liaison of the Institute for Innovation in Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital and Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Burgundy (France), followed by a DOE-funded postdoctoral fellowship at MGH and Harvard Medical School, where she became an expert in imaging probe development for preclinical application. Specifically, she developed a new collagen-PET probe for molecular imaging of pulmonary fibrosis that represents a novel and promising diagnostic strategy for clinical translation. She is currently writing an investigational new drug application to assess the pharmacokinetics and safety of this collagen-specific PET probe in human volunteer. Her primary research goals are directed towards improving molecular imaging probe technology and applying molecular imaging to the diagnosis and characterization of disease.
